This section is designed to provide information on
the programs working with marine and coastal animals
to understand their behavioral ecology. The organizations
involved often deploy tags attached to their study
subjects that provide information via radio, acoustic
and satellite signals as well as standard, non-electronic
markers. Improved technology in recent years has allowed
for tags that provide more accurate data on a variety
of variables associated the behavior of mammals, birds,
fish or invertebrates.
