SUMMARY:California OAH Monitoring Symposium - Moss Landing\, April 6-7
DESCRIPTION:\nOn April 6-7\, 2023\, over 40 researchers\, policy makers\, a
 nd stakeholders gathered at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute i
 n Moss Landing\, CA for the California OAH Monitoring Symposium. The goal 
 of the ‘Symposium’ was to convene California OAH monitoring project le
 ads\, stakeholders and data providers (managers of shore station and coast
 al moorings\, NERRS and USGS water quality monitoring managers\, and diver
 -deployed OAH sensor programs) to achieve the following:\n\n\n 	\nShare le
 ssons learned and facilitate input from the greater stakeholder community 
 on OAH Portal and associated data visualizations\, presentations\, and ana
 lyses\n\n 	\nDiscuss data ingestion and visualization capability to unders
 tand optimal information delivery for stakeholders and data providers\n\n 
 	\nConvene OAH monitoring project leads to enhance community awareness and
  identify synergies / areas of opportunity\n\n 	\nShare challenges\, best 
 practices\, and lessons learned (including github code)\n\n 	\nCreate comm
 unity for learning and data quality enhancement\n\n 	\nImprove metadata li
 nkage to co-located biological data\n\n 	\nWork with data providers to pro
 duce representative data visualizations within the Cal OAH Portal\n\n\nThi
