DESCRIPTION:On May 24-25\, 2022 the IOOS Regional Associations CeNCOOS and 
 SCCOOS gathered key\ncommunity members from our Joint Strategic Advisory C
 ommittee and Principle Investigators to\nupdate on observing and scientifi
 c advancements and to chart a path for future progress. Over 70 participan
 ts met to exchange information on current activities\, highlight existing 
 observational and information needs\, and build consensus on regional Stat
 e of California priorities. Below\, we provide a brief summary of the two-
 day proceedings\, including the agenda and links to presentations\, discus
 sion jamboards\, and high-level emerging themes.
